IEEE Women in Engineering International Leadership Summit is a global initiative that focus on Inspiration, Leadership, Empowerment and Entrepreneurship for early carrier, mid carrier and senior women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Summit provides great opportunities for networking, mentorship and collaboration.

IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group of Bangladesh is privileged to organize “IEEE WIE International Leadership Summit (ILS) 2018” from 12-13 October, 2018 in Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka with the theme of “Dream| Believe| Achieve |Empower”. IEEE WIE ILS 2018 Bangladesh aims to inspire and empower women in the STEM fields for taking the initiative, breaking the barriers and leading the Wind of Change they wish to see in the world. Spanning over two days featuring Tech Professionals across the globe, the summit aspires to prepare grounds for all the delegates to ponder promising ideas on Innovation, Inspiration, Leadership, Empowerment, Entrepreneurship, Emerging technology, Disruptive technology and Humanitarian technologies along with a unique opportunity of networking among the women engineers across the world.

One of the key attraction of this summit is IEEE Bangladesh section is going to celebrate its “25th anniversary of IEEE Bangladesh section” this year and a celebration evening will be held prior to the summit.

Additionally, “WIE International Humanitarian Technology Project Competition (WIE-IHTPC)” which is going to be collocated with the summit to inspire more women and female students to be involved in humanitarian technology based activities. WIE-IHTPC will offer a unique platform for the future STEM leaders to showcase their dynamic ideas, vision and solutions to those problems blended with newer and smarter technology for the betterment of humanity. It will also give them opportunity to meet and connect with the esteemed and recognized experts and professionals around the world.
